“It's a PROPER LID!”

It's a lid. Can't get excited? Wrong!
This is a beautifully crafted, fully metal lid.
An accidental drop on the kitchen tiles will not worry it at all.
Why should you be excited? It's a proper, traditional lid with no steam hole.
If I want to slow cook a stew in my stew pan, why do I want to let all my liquid escape? If I'm bringing something to the boil, I can shift the lid slightly to stop it rattling or foaming over.
It looks beautiful, like all Falk items.
Like the pans, these lids are an investment - accept no substitute! (You might've guessed, I really like mine)

The magic of a good casserole comes with a cover/lid.
The two items just go together. It works on the cooking front and looks great on presentation.
Oven to table, they are made for each other, together.
